Jim McIntyre on tonight’s game; “We got off to the worst possible start. To gift the free kick away is disappointing but it’s a great finish, then we give another goal away shortly after. I thought the lads showed a lot of battling and fighting quality. We kept trying to do the right things in the rest of that half to get back in the game. In the second half you must get the first goal and get some confidence back we make the wrong decision straight away and Hearts get the 3rd. It’s disappointing that it’s a mistake from us rather than great play from Hearts. We’ve got to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. There’s not been enough goals scored, once you start putting the ball in the back of the net you can start climbing the table but at the moment we’re always giving ourselves a mountain to climb and trying to come from behind, that doesn’t help for confidence. We’ve got the 3 form teams in Livingston, Hearts and Celtic and it’s all about trying to progress. There might be a bit of pain before it gets better but it’ll get better. We’re no closer to having an assistant manager appointed but that will be confirmed by the end of the week.”
