Hi, can I start off by saying I, am not a united supporter? But I, am a massive supporter of football, please bear with me, About 4 years ago I helped organize a Dundee fc trek abroad (mountain climb) Africa. 80% of all money raised went to club’s youth development 20% went a local charity. I would along with the club, run a similar trip with your own supporters this time? “Arabs in the Sahara Desert” it’s something different, something the media/ sponsors would jump all over it, can it be done, Yes of course it can, If you or others would like to meet up to discuss/ chat about how this can come together Let’s do it? Cheers Jock Mcinnes MBE, Scone: mcinnes1984@outlook.com Oh, and all my advice, experience, knowledge comes FREE?

History of Football: Dundee United FC

Origins: Dundee United F.C. was formed in 1909 as 'Dundee Hibernian'. Its origin lies in the desire to form a football club to serve the Irish immigrant community in Dundee. Local bicycle trader, Pat Reilly, became the club's first manager. The club leased Clepington Park, re-naming it from the outset to Tannadice Park where they have been based ever since. After a series of financial problems they changed their name to Dundee United in October, 1923 in an attempt to widen their fan appeal.
